I make 3D animated visuals and sell the seamless 4K loops they are built from. A licence lets you use one of those loops as part of work you make: a music video, client film, stream, live visual set, advert, installation or screen at a venue. It is a one-off payment, not a subscription, and commercial use is included.
What you are licensing
You are licensing a clean, downloadable 4K video loop. The product page for each loop lists its resolution, frame rate, duration, format and file size, and shows a preview before you buy.
The licence covers the loop file, not the twelve-hour version on my YouTube channel, its music or ambience, or the original Cinema 4D project. The download is silent and ready to edit into your own work. You can browse all available loops here.
What Visualdon licensing allows
You can use a licensed loop inside finished work including:
- music videos, films, trailers, adverts and social content;
- paid client projects and work made by a freelancer or studio;
- stream intros, waiting screens and backgrounds;
- VJ sets, concerts, theatre, installations and venue screens;
- broadcast, cinema, presentations and events;
- personal, educational and non-commercial projects.
You may cut, crop, colour-grade, re-time, composite and add graphics or type. One person can use their licence across unlimited projects, clients and machines, with no expiry. Credit is appreciated but never required.
What it does not allow
The basic line is simple: use the loop inside something you make; do not make the loop itself the product. You cannot:
- resell, sublicense, share or pass on the source file;
- put it in a template, stock library, asset pack or downloadable project;
- sell it on prints, clothing, canvases or other physical products;
- upload it as an ambient video, wallpaper, screensaver or extended loop;
- register it, or a work substantially built around it, with Content ID;
- use it to train an AI model or mint it as an NFT.

Commercial and client work
Commercial use is included in the standard price. There is no separate commercial tier, broadcast fee or audience limit. You can charge a client for the finished work and the client can publish and keep using that finished work.
The source loop file does not transfer to the client. If they need the file to make their own edits, they need their own licence. The useful test is: are they receiving the video you made, or are they receiving my reusable loop? The first is normal client delivery; the second needs another licence.
How many licences a team needs
A licence covers one person. If three people will open and work with the loop, buy three licences using the quantity control beside the price. Licences are per person rather than per project, device or client, so each licensed person can use the file on unlimited work afterwards.
GIFs, YouTube visuals and downloadable loops
The GIFs are free to save, post and use inside things you make, subject to the restrictions stated on their pages. They are small, compressed four-second files. The loop shop sells the clean 4K masters for professional editing and display.
The twelve-hour visuals on YouTube are there to watch. Buying a loop does not grant ownership of the artwork or permission to republish a long version that competes with the original channel.
Classes use different terms
Loop licensing applies to downloadable footage. Access to Visualdon classes is covered separately by the Class Terms. Buying a class does not include licences to loop files unless a class page explicitly says otherwise.
Visualdon licensing FAQ
Does Visualdon offer commercial licensing?
Yes. Commercial work, monetised content and paid client projects are covered by the standard loop licence.
Can I use a Visualdon loop on YouTube?
Yes, as part of a video you made. Do not upload the loop as the main content, and do not register it or a substantially loop-based work with Content ID.
Can I use a loop in a music video or VJ set?
Yes. Music videos, live visuals, concerts, installations and venue screens are all intended uses.
Is a Visualdon licence exclusive?
No. Other people can license and use the same loop. Your edit and finished work are yours, but I retain copyright in the original loop.
Do I need to credit Visualdon?
No. A credit is appreciated but not required.
Can I send the source file to my client or another editor?
Only if that person has their own licence. You can deliver the finished work to a client, but an unlicensed person cannot receive or work with the reusable loop file.
What if my use is not covered here?
