Who
I'm Don. I make retro and space visuals — looping worlds, mostly built in Cinema 4D — and I shoot photography.
I'm from Zimbabwe, based in the UK. I picked up Cinema 4D in school and taught myself the rest. I worked as a motion designer at Manchester United and in e-commerce before going full-time on my own work.
These days that's mostly the twelve-hour loops — night drives, space, quiet landscapes. I read a lot of NASA history and a fair few of the space pieces started there. Space is cold, though, so about half of what I make is warmer and closer to home.
The work has been featured by the BBC. I teach Cinema 4D on Skillshare, where I'm in the top 1% of teachers and my intro animation class is a staff pick.
