4K seamless loops
4K stream backgrounds, from my own channel
I am Don. I make retro, space and sci-fi visuals in Cinema 4D and Redshift, and I have been putting them on YouTube for years. These are the same renders, sold as the source loops: 3840x2160, seamless, MP4, made to sit behind a webcam or a BRB screen.
Before you buy
Use these inside anything you make — a stream intro, a client’s video, a music video, a VJ set, a screen at a venue. Paid work included.
What you cannot do is sell the loop on: no passing the file to anyone, no Canva or template libraries, no prints or merch, no publishing it as a video in its own right, and never Content ID.
Every loop
All of them, darkest and calmest first — the ones that sit behind a webcam without fighting it. $39 each, whatever the length.

Info & FAQs
What these are, how to use them, and what the licence lets you do.
These are the files behind the videos
I am not a stock library. Every loop here started as a render for my own channel — retro, space, sci-fi, neon cities, natural worlds. What you buy is the loop the video was built from, at the resolution I rendered it. Not stock footage, and not AI.
New to animated stream scenes? The Twitch, Kick and streaming backgrounds guide covers OBS setup, resolution, performance and how the licence applies to monetised streams.
Putting one into OBS
Sources, then the plus, then Media Source. Point Local File at the MP4 and tick Loop. Right-click the source, choose Transform, then Fit to Screen. Drag it to the bottom of the source list so your game capture, webcam and overlays sit above it. While you are in the source properties, turn on hardware decoding and leave “Close file when inactive” unticked.
Do the resize before OBS does. If your canvas is 1920×1080, make a 1080p copy of the file once and point OBS at that; otherwise OBS rescales 4K on every frame while you stream. One line of ffmpeg does it:
ffmpeg -i loop.mp4 -vf scale=1920:1080 -c:v libx264 -crf 18 -pix_fmt yuv420p loop-1080.mp4
Keep the 4K original for recording, or for a larger canvas later.
The Streamer Pack, picked by measurement
I did not pick these by their titles. Every loop in the library went through ffmpeg and was scored on two things: mean luma, which is how bright the average frame is, and how much the picture changes from one frame to the next. I kept only the loops that came in under both a brightness limit and a motion limit, then took the darkest of those.
The result is footage dark enough that your face and your text stay readable over the top, and slow enough that the background is not the thing moving on screen. Dark and calm is a property of the pixels here, not of the name I gave the piece. The Calm and VJ packs come out of the same measurements.
What you get, and what you don’t
Files are MP4, H.264 High, yuv420p, 3840×2160. There is no WebM and no alpha channel. Alpha matters for an overlay that sits over your gameplay — a frame, a border, a lower third. Not for a background, which is the bottom layer of the scene with nothing showing through it. I do not make overlays.
Frame rates vary by piece — 24, 30, 50 and 60fps all exist — and each loop’s page states which it is, along with its length and file size. Payment is one-off. The download is instant: as soon as the payment clears you get the file and a licence number, held against your purchase.
Will a 4K background lag my stream?
Decoding video costs something, and I have not measured it on your machine, so I am not going to quote you a figure I did not take. The part you control is the rescale: if your canvas is 1080p and you hand OBS a 3840x2160 file, OBS resizes every frame while you are live, on top of everything else it is doing. Make a 1080p copy once, point OBS at that, and turn on hardware decoding.
Do they actually loop, or is there a visible jump?
They loop. Each file is cut at the loop point, so the last frame runs into the first with no join. If you get a black flash or a hitch when it restarts in OBS, that is playback rather than the render — turn on hardware decoding on the source and leave “Close file when inactive” unticked.
The loop is 24fps and I stream at 60. Will it judder?
24 does not divide into 60, so OBS repeats frames unevenly and a slow camera move can look uneven. My loops exist at 24, 30, 50 and 60fps and each product page states which. For a 60fps stream, pick a 30 or 60fps loop; for 50fps output, pick a 50. A 24fps loop is usually fine behind a webcam, but I would rather you knew before buying than after.
Do you have WebM, or a version with a transparent background?
No. Everything is MP4, H.264, yuv420p today. There is no alpha channel and I do not sell one.
Does this work in Streamlabs, XSplit and vMix, and on Kick and YouTube?
Yes. It is a video file on your own machine, so anything that plays a local video can use it: OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, Twitch Studio, vMix, StreamYard. The platform never sees the file, only your encoded output, so Twitch, YouTube and Kick are all the same to it. It also works as a Zoom or Meet background.
Can I get a Content ID claim or a copyright strike on my VOD?
Commercial use inside your own work is included. The licence also bars every buyer from registering these with Content ID or any other rights-management system, and that clause is what protects you: nobody else who bought the same loop can lodge a claim that lands on your VOD. What you may not do is publish the loop as the content itself — no “ten hours of ambient visuals” uploads, no screensaver apps, no reposting it as a video in its own right. Running it behind your stream is what it is for.
Do I keep the files, and does it matter that other streamers have the same loop?
You pay once and the files are yours. There is no subscription and nothing expires. The licence is non-exclusive and there is no cap on how many people buy the same loop, so someone else may well be running it. If that bothers you, length helps — the longer pieces run into the minutes, which takes a while for a regular viewer to notice.
